Greenbridge
Greenbridge is a
HOPE VI community that replaces the 1940s-era Park
Lake Homes, a barracks-style
public housing development. The
phased redevelopment of this 95-acre site will result in a new,
mixed-income master-planned community for both renters and
owners. The site will also feature a community center, library
and YWCA, as well as an elementary school. Funding for the
project came from a variety of sources, including a $35 million HOPE VI
grant, philanthropic donations and a $1 million award from the
Washington State
Housing Trust Fund.
