Quality Hill

This community covers more than 6 city blocks and is located within an historic district that was originally home to one of the City's most fashionable residential neighborhoods. Redevelopment included the renovation of 15 buildings for apartments, office space, retail and commercial uses and a YMCA. To finance this large-scale project, developer McCormack Baron Salazar worked with local banks, businesses and philanthropic partners, and also received federal, state and local funds as well as a 25-year tax abatement from Kansas City.
