The Village of Brush Park Manor Paradise Valley
Constructed
in 2001 in the historic Brush Park Paradise Valley area, the village is
just blocks from Comerica Park, Fox Theater, Ford Field, healthcare
clinics and hospitals. The Village of Brush Park Manor Paradise Valley
was conceived and developed by the Brush Park Development Corporation,
the Joint Fraternal Development Corporation (Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity
Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., The Most Worshipful King David
Grand Lodge A.F. and A.M.), and Presbyterian Villages of Michigan
(PVM). The units are cozy, fully-modern 1-bedroom apartments,
cable-ready, with wall-to-wall carpeting, emergency call system,
individually controlled heating and cooling, and fully equipped
kitchens with refrigerator/freezer and stove. Some apartments are
specially designed for mobility-impaired residents. Within the village
are a kitchen-equipped community room, lounge areas, library/computer
room, central laundry facilities, and barber/beauty shop. Residents 62
years of age or older and meeting the specified income limits pay 30%
of adjusted gross annual income in rent.
