Policy Forum

Plan to stay in Denver for a second day of activities when you join the National Housing Conference, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, and our planning committee partners for exploration of how cities with rapidly expanding transit are balancing that growth with the preservation of affordable rental housing.

This Partners in Innovation policy forum will bring together federal, state, and local officials, industry leaders, and advocates for a critical dialogue on the connection between rental housing preservation and transit. Keynote, plenary and breakout sessions will highlight state and local best practices from cities including Denver, Atlanta, Minneapolis, and Seattle and will explore ways to better support this work through innovative partnerships, policy development, and legislative reform.
